Plain English, no filler. Here is exactly what we collect, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated 22 August 2026

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, password, the role you signed up for, and optionally your social handle, company name and phone number. Your password is stored only as a secure one-way hash, never as readable text.

When you submit a clip we store the public post link, the platform, any note you add, the view count you report and the verified count our reviewer records. When you request a cashout we store the amount, the mobile money provider and the number you asked to be paid on.

We also record the country your browser reports on your first visit, which is used only to choose which currency to display. Payouts are always made in Zambian kwacha regardless of that setting.

2. Why we hold it

To run your account, review your submissions, calculate what you are owed, and pay you. That is the whole purpose. We cannot verify a clip without the link, and we cannot send a payout without a mobile money number.

We also use aggregate figures, such as total verified views delivered, to report campaign performance to the brands funding the pools. Those reports never contain your contact details or payout details.

3. Who sees your information

A brand funding a campaign sees the public posts submitted to it, the handle attached to each one, and the verified view counts. They do not see your email address, your phone number, your mobile money details or your balance.

Our review and payout staff see what they need to verify a clip and send a transfer. Mobile money operators receive the number and amount required to complete a payment. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. Cookies and sessions

We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It holds a random session identifier, nothing else, and it is marked HttpOnly so it cannot be read by scripts in your browser. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out.

Your display currency preference is stored locally in your own browser and never leaves your device.

5. How long we keep it

Account and submission records are kept while your account is open. Payout and revenue records are kept for seven years after the transaction, because Zambian tax law requires it.

If you close your account we delete your profile and contact details, and retain only the financial records we are legally obliged to keep.

6. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete your account. Write to us and we will action it within 30 days.

You can update your name, handle, phone number and mobile money details yourself at any time from your dashboard.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use HttpOnly cookies. All traffic to the platform is encrypted in transit. Access to payout data inside the team is limited to the staff who process transfers.

No system is perfect. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you what happened and what to do about it.

8. Contact

For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your data, write to hello@more.co.zm or call +260 97 000 0000.

Our office is at Levy Junction, Church Road, Lusaka, Zambia.
